Privacy Statement Talking Fantasy 
Talking Fantasy is a social networking service through which you can connect to others and make friends. A way to communicate about the subjects that really interest you; fantasy, Middle Ages, magic, manga, scifi and gothic.
Talking Fantasy adapts itself to your wishes as much as possible. Treating your information with care is therefore one of our priorities. This entails in any case that your personal information will not be shared with third parties and that we will not send you spam.
Passwords will be saved encrypted, which means that no one of the Talking Fantasy editorial staff has access.
Personal information
Talking Fantasy collects user submitted information. Providing your personal information is not obliged. However, some services may not be accessible without providing more information. Talking Fantasy also logs non-personally-identifiable information such as IP address, profile information, browser type and visitors to the website. This information will also not be shared.
User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
Your personal information can be processed in various ways. This information includes for instance your name, address, city, birth date, education, gender and e-mail address, but also your interests. You can indicate that you are interested in a particular subject, or your interests may show from the pages that you visit on Talking Fantasy.
The user can indicate himself which information he wants displayed to everyone, friends or not visible at all.
You can change your information at any time when logged in.
Goals
We use your personal information to better adjust Talking Fantasy to your wishes and needs.
You can indicate in which areas you are interested. When exciting things take place in the areas you specify the Talking Fantasy editors will inform you. This might be the release of a new book or a special concert.
You can always unenlist from this at any time via your account settings.
Invitations and other communications to non-members
Talking Fantasy Members can invite friends to join the Talking Fantasy community by sending them an e-mail via our automated invitation system. Talking Fantasy stores the e-mail addresses that Members provide so that they may be added to the friends of the one sending the invitation. Recipients of the invitation may contact Talking Fantasy to request the removal of their information from our database.
Links and third parties
When using a service of a partner or advertiser of Talking Fantasy, the privacy statement of the partner applies. On the Talking Fantasy website you’ll find links to websites of third parties. When using those websites their Terms of Agreement and privacy statement apply.
Confidential information on public areas
Remember that a lot of areas can be accessed by the public and whenever you post personal information on public areas they may be accessed and used by anyone.
Changes in our Privacy Policy
In the future our privacy policy may be changed. The most privacy policy can be viewed on the TalkingFantasy.com, TalkingFantasy.nl or the TalkingFantasy domains with other extensions. Talking Fantasy will notify her Members via the submitted e-mailadress of such amendments.
As Talking Fantasy we care deeply about online privacy and will do everything reasonably possible to ensure the security of the information of our Members.
